Entry Fee $175 ($200 after June 15, $225 after July 1)
Sections Based on age and gender: U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U18 - Boys and Girls. More here
Prizes Winners of each combined section and each section with 8 or more players receive $1000 toward expenses for their trip to participate in the World Youth Chess Championship 2010 in Greece. The WYCC are providing free board (meals and lodging) for winners of the 12 categories. More funding toward expenses will be provided to the winners if finances permit.

Eligibility Must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Canadian resident for at least 12 months. Players with any question about their own eligibility to compete should contact Michael Barron, Canadian Youth Chess Coordinator at barron045@yahoo.com to verify eligibility. Failure to do so and not meeting the requirements could result in withdrawal from the tournament and/or ineligibility for awards. More information HERE
